Missional Anglicanism
Over the last year we have been looking to work with others to sound a louder voice for orthodox faith and practice within the Church in Wales. This has been in response to liberal steps in issues of sexuality and liturgy and to the assumption that contrary voices are insignificant or will fade. Working across traditions will give mutual encouragement as well as that stronger voice. We have helped arrange a conference in Cardiff on 15th-16th March, 2019, with keynote speakers Michael Nazir-Ali, Philip North, Lorna Ashworth, and Lee Gatiss. This should be a very encouraging and significant occasion. Do join us and bring others with you.

Governing Body
In September 2018 the Governing Body voted that “it is pastorally unsustainable for the Church to make no formal provision for those in same-gender relationships.” We don't know whether this will be taken further at May's Governing Body, but a recent mailing from Bangor Diocese argued for the Church in Wales to allow the marriage of same-sex couples.

Dr. Martin Davie, a leading Anglican theologian who served until recently as theological adviser to the Church of England’s House of Bishops, has sent the Evangelical Fellowship his response which clearly sets out the reasoning behind the fellowship backing the church's traditional teaching on marriage.
